I thought this a thread about the author Will Self, maybe get him in as the next manager.

Lost his last 3 games.

I guess the honeymoon period is over for our Will.

Re: Will Still
I'd take him. Why not, would be a gamble and alot of pressure for the lad but he seems like he has got what it takes.

If/when a new manager comes in they will still have to deal with managing a premier club that has no science data department and a shocking scouting set up that is headed up by the managers son simply because he is the managers son.

"I believe Will Still doesn't have his coaching badges so is unemployable in PL."

That doesn't matter. WAISTCOAT managed Middlesborough without any coaching badges. He just got given dispensation form the Premier League to continue managing.

I believe Will Still doesn't have his coaching badges so is unemployable in PL.

And he's not had PL experience of failing somewhere else so we couldn't possibly appoint such a manager.

Won again today. Now has the longest unbeaten run in the top 5 European leagues. 9 wins. 9 draws. Bring him in.?

Just not under current ownership.

Just appoint the Football Manager game engine.

Moyes FUCK OFF

Will Still IN!!!

Re: Will Still
From what I've heard about him from those that would know, he would be the direct opposite of Moyes - all attack, described by one as 'Bielsa on speed'

That would be a thing, seeing what could be done with our lot

As utterly irrational as it is, I would take him tonight, but then again I would take anyone right now over the Scotcher

Re: Will Still
To be honest with some of the insane decision making I've seen from managers at West Ham over the years, the idea that you have to have a football background to make sound tactical and team selection decisions couldn't be further from the truth.

Be I tested to know how he runs training....whether he relies on experienced pros for that, and takes a watching brief, but even if he's smart tactically and puts round pegs in round holes players wise, can assess a players strength and then play to it, he's several steps ahead of a number of the guys we've had in charge.

Will Will Still still be talked about as our next manager by the end of the season?

His disciplinary record is stainless.

Re: Will Still
I'd take him if we get relegated.

I'd prefer to see him cut his teeth over here with someone else before us, if we were to stay up though.

Looks like he has a great future ahead of him though.

Re: Will Still
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but can he keep a club in the Premier League?

That's the mark of a true man - a true manager.

Never mind all this Fancy-Dan shit about winning trophies and stuff, Premier League survival every season is the only (ONLY) thing that counts.
